TWC channels to watch Olympics ... all 6,755 hours of it

For anyone who can't get enough of the Olympic Games, Time Warner Cable subscribers have access to NBCUniversal's 6,755 hours of the XXXI Olympiad programming from Rio de Janeiro.

The Olympics, which will run through Aug. 21, commenced Friday with the opening ceremonies. What follows is nearly three weeks of competition for that coveted gold.

The games are being broadcast across 11 channels.

Time Warner Cable has announced that its customers will be able to receive NBCUniversal's coverage, including all competition sessions on-demand.

If you watch television the old-fashioned way off the antenna, or through a satellite or computer provider, check listings for channel information.

Along with the extensive coverage on the networks of NBCUniversal - including NBC, NBCSN, The Golf Channel, Bravo, CNBC, MSNBC, USA Network, Telemundo, NBC Universo, and two linear sport-specific specialty channels - Time Warner Cable subscribers can stay connected to the Rio Games.

According to the cable company, the programming is accessible by going to NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app.

The following multiplatform offerings from NBCUniversal will allow Time Warner Cable customers to watch and be a part of the Olympic Games through their televisions, PCs, mobile and tablet apps, and connected TVs:

Linear Networks: NBC Olympics is utilizing nine NBCUniversal broadcast and cable networks to present the Games: NBC, NBCSN, Golf Channel, Bravo, CNBC, MSNBC, USA Network, and Spanish-language networks Telemundo and NBCUniverso.

Via NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app: Olympic live streaming content is available at NBCOlympics.com for PCs and through the NBC Sports app for mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs verified customers who subscribe to a package that includes CNBC and MSNBC, and who sign in to the site or app.

NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app will once again feature live streaming coverage of all Olympic competition, plus event rewinds and extensive video highlights. Time Warner Cable customers can verify their subscriptions and watch Olympic coverage live online at no additional charge. The company's customers can use the TWC TV app to watch all live Olympic content that is airing on NBCU's broadcast and cable channels anywhere in a Time Warner Cable subscriber's home.

Cable customers should follow the TV Everywhere verification process to access Olympic programming via NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app.
